Urban Walkers Dog Booties
“Urban Walkers” is designed for everyday paw protection. This boot was designed by a former Nike Shoe designer and tested by the National Guide Dogs for the blind. It has a stronger, non-skid sole (as compared to our Healers bootie) and the upper is a shoe mesh so it dries quickly. Even though the sole is thicker it is still flexible providing your pet a natural feel and movement as they walk or run. The wrap around design enables a great fit so the boot stays on. The hook and loop applied is high tensile strength hook that creates a firm hold even in snowy conditions. All of our products are produced in Portland, Oregon with the highest quality material. No other boot on the market compares.
Why packaged in pairs?
We decided to package our product in pairs to provide you with more options when purchasing. We added two half sizes between the Small and Med, and the Med and Large. We learned during our testing with the National Guide Dogs for the Blind that the back paws can be slightly smaller than the front paws. On many Med to Large dogs a customer may need to purchase a smaller size for the back paw. By offering the product in pairs you have more options for purchasing. The better the fit the more comfortable the boot will be for the dog and the product will stay on.

I am a veterinarian and owner of a very large Irish Wolfhound. While that may sound redundant, he is one of the largest Irish Wolfhounds I have ever seen. Anyway, we live in the city and walk him on pavement and he has worn 2 of his nails down to the quick on different back feet. These have been a chronic problem for months. I was cutting soft paws and placing them on for protection, but there is very little nail left to adhere them to, and every time they fall off, I feel that rips off another layer of nail. I picked up a pair of Urban Walkers to try and they are one of the best designs I have found yet. But they are too small, and so I feel the healers will be as well. I was wondering if there was anyway to get a pair custom made for him that would fit. Thank you.
